We are often asked how a student can know which Joel S. Goldsmith recordings are authentic and are currently under copyright or copy protection. These are the facts:
Recordings
All of Joel’s recordings that were first recorded in the United States are protected by copyright laws in every state of the United States. All of Joel’s recordings that were first recorded outside the United States are protected by copyright under the Berne Convention. These protections continue to be in force for multiple decades into the future.
The copyright laws require that copying the recordings other than for the purchaser’s personal use, posting the recordings for listening online, or transmitting the recordings over the Internet or any other network requires written permission from the Estate of Joel S. Goldsmith. This permission has been granted in limited cases, and each party to whom the permission is granted can state that permission on their website or other materials.
In response to students’ inquiries, you may wish to know that Joel S. Goldsmith recordings on YouTube are posted without permission from the copyright holder.
All recordings available from The Infinite Way Office in all formats—CDs, MP3s, or the Streaming Service—are authentic.
Transcripts
All transcripts provided on JoelGoldsmith.com are under the protection of US Copyright number TXU001971052, which is also an international copyright based on the terms of the Berne Convention agreements. Any transcript of Joel S. Goldsmith recordings qualifies as a “derivative work” and is not permitted under copyright laws without the explicit written permission of the holder of the copyright or the copy protection for the recording. No permissions have been granted to any other person or entity to make transcripts of Joel S. Goldsmith recordings.
Books (including Pamphlets)
Each book for which Joel S. Goldsmith is the author has its own individual copyright protection status. The copyright protection status varies based on when the book was first published and the country in which the book was first published. As a rule, books by Joel S.
